Aight so here we go again. I’ve gotten sick of using tumblr because of it’s limited capabilities. After looking into WordPress (thanks to Damian) I rather enjoy the quick and easy setup of the tool. I’ll need to work on getting the domain name stuff worked out but it shouldn’t take too long – I don’t like having to play with ports.

I was able to pull in my blogs from tumblr and blogger the “cut & paste” way; which took a little bit of time but well worth it now that I have one place that all my blogs reside. WordPress seems pretty extensible, and really easy to setup. I want to start looking into the plugins and other niceities that WordPress has to offer.

So hopefully this will a “successful” blog migration in that I use this as religiously as I did tumblr. I may or may not continue to use tumblr as a backup so I don’t forget to log my daily meals.
