Cheating vs. Progress
So if you’ve been reading this blog recently; you’ve probably noticed the multiple times I’ve cheated over the past few weeks. This is me getting lazy and not being prepared for lunch at work. Myra and I were talking and we wanted to keep eating out to a minimum this week but so far it’s not really working out. I’ve got the support and I’ve heard from a few peeps that they notice my face getting slimmer but I think I need more.
My weight loss has now been stagnant for about two weeks and it’s affecting my morale at the gym now. I’ve taken up Softball with IPO (first game was today) and Raquetball as supplements to my workout regime but I’m thinking I need to kick up my cardio in more ways and more often. We were kicking around the thought of running in the morning before work; which totally works by the way – I’ve done it before and I was dropping lbs like crazy. It’s just the whole waking up at the crack of dawn to “exercise” and the warmth of a bed that keeps me from getting up.
I have been sticking to drinking the protein shakes daily but I’m not hitting the gym as often as I’d like which I blame on my sleeping.(we’ve been sleeping crazy hours lately) Also I think I’m going to try and shake up my cardio at the gym and do something other than the usual treadmill because I think my body has gotten used to it and doesn’t really get as much benefit as it did before.
