The new version of WordPress came out ( version 2.5.1) and the whole upgrade took almost 15 mins. Not bad, not bad at all considering I have multiple themes and a handful of plugins.

After following the steps located on the wordpress.org site I was able to upgrade the site from 2.5 to 2.5.1 in no time.
